Mehr ging Ende der 90er nicht. Die mächtige Wall of Sound traf auf einen butterzarten Aydo Abay. Zwischen leicht latenter Dekadenz und unfassbarer Süße. It’s so cosy in hell! Noiserock, Indie und Pop im Schulterschluss. Hinter allem stand Kurt Ebelhäuser. Mastermind und mittlerweile Godfather of German Producing. Und Blunoise als erste Kaderschmiede unter Guido Lucas war so ein bisschen unser AmRep! Das kann durchaus als Wertarbeit bezeichnet werden. Dann kam der Major, Viva Zwei, die Rotationen, der Erfolg, dann der Zwist. Machen wir uns nichts vor, von da an wurde es egal. Sowohl Abays Karriere als auch die Fortsetzung im Gestüt Blackmail. Blackmail machen noch Musik, Abay auch. Diese Sammlung ist ein großartiges Best-of. Der goldenen Jahre, versteht sich von selbst. Und noch ein ganzer Sack von Rare Tracks und Cover-Versionen. Verdammt. Kommt alle zusammen: Das ist ein ganz großer Knüller!
